Some wonderful wetlands and great beaches for an array of shorebirds, waders and waterbirds are encountered. With some of the more special target species being; Paradise Riflebird, Regent, Satin and Great Bowerbirds, Australian Logrunner, Rose Robin, Green Catbird, Diamond Firetail, Albert’s Lyrebird, Marbled Frogmouth (plumiferus), Scarlet, White-eared and Yellow-tufted Honeyeaters, Black-breasted Buttonquail and Eastern Ground Parrot, to name a few.
