OVERVIEW  The tour starts with a regional flight from Adelaide to Port Lincoln for our first 2 nights stay and an exploration of the Coffin Bat area. The ensuing days we travel along the beautiful southern coastline, through a list of tranquil coastal hamlets, marveling at the ‘Great Australian Bight’ and Bunda Cliffs with hopeful sightings of Southern Right Whales being on the cards. Head across the eastern part of the vast ‘Nullarbor Plains’ region for some exciting remote target species. Turning around and heading east for the ‘Gawler Ranges’ and a different suite of Arid Country birds. Enjoy a night at Mt Ives Station before making away back through Whyalla to Port Augusta at the head of the Spencer Gulf. We spend time birding at the iconic ‘Australian Arid Lands Botanic Gardens before making our way back to Adelaide for our last nights dinner and accommodation.

Outstanding coastal National Parks, Mallee Country, Arid Zones, Spinifex-clad Hills, Treeless Plains and stunning vistas of the Great Australian Bight’
